Angie Rothbauer earned her Juris Doctorate with cum laude honors from the University of Louisville’s Louis D. Brandeis School of Law. During her time in Louisville, Angie immersed herself in exploring various legal interests. She served as an immigration law extern with Kentucky Refugee Ministries and researched rental housing policy with the Louisville Metro Government Office for Women. Angie also conducted an independent study focused on national issues surrounding adult guardianship law and taught introductory legal concepts in Belize as part of UofL’s International Service-Learning Program.
Before pursuing a career in law, Angie spent twelve years as an employee benefits professional. In this role, she consulted with large corporations and municipalities on the costs and value of their group health, dental, life, disability, voluntary worksite, and wellness benefits plans. At an executive level, Angie coordinated requests for proposals, conducted claims review analyses and presentations, negotiated renewals with insurance carriers and third-party administrators, and assisted clients with legislative compliance.
For employees, Angie created benefit communications materials, coordinated technical open enrollment procedures, and handled escalated claims payment issues. She held management and key account executive positions with renowned brokerages, including Bouchard Insurance, Greene-Hazel & Associates, Compass Consulting Group, and Sherrill D. Morgan & Associates.
Angie became a member of the Florida Bar in April 2024, and with Fayard Law, she now practices general law with a focus on estate planning. She understands the importance of protecting your legacy and ensuring your wishes are carried out according to your specifications.
